Ranking and League Info
By competing in orienteering competitions, members will soon find their name included on one of several ranking lists and leagues. The most prominent ranking lists and leagues for EBOR members are as follows:
| National British Orienteering Ranking List | The aim of the British Orienteering Single Scale Ranking Scheme is to rank regular and competent orienteers in order of orienteering ability in the hope that this will spur the spirit of competition, thereby helping to raise both navigational and fitness standards and adding to the satisfaction of participating for regular orienteers. The ranking list can be accessed here and can be filtered by Club, Age and Gender. |
| EBOR League | A league that is designed for EBOR members only, and ranks performance in 15 events around Yorkshire – 6 organised by EBOR and 9 organised by other Clubs. The best 10 scores will count. Full details of the League and how points are calculated is available here. |
| Yorkshire & Humberside Night League | The YHOA Night League ranks performance in 6 Night events throughout Yorkshire. Best four out of six events will count. Details of current league ranking positions is available here. |
| Yorkshire Orienteering SuperLeague | The Yorkshire Orienteering Superleague is a new competition open to all full members of British Orienteering. It will be hosted at Yorkshire’s best regional events, 9 events in total in 2011 – including two EBOR events. Fuller details of the league and current ranking positions is available here. |
| Yorkshire & Humberside Urban League | The League is open to all competitors who are full members of BOF, although only YHOA members will qualify for Trophies. Enter any course/class for which you are eligible, and you will be automatically included in the league. Best six out of twelve results will count in 2011 and fuller details as well as current ranking positions is available here. |
