Location
The York City race will be based on the south side of the city this year. There is a designated car park, hired for the event. Car Park details are below. If you are walking to the event, then Assembly will be near the south end entrance to Rowntree Park, OS Grid Ref SE602502, post code YO23 1LS. From the A64 the best way in is the A1036 Junction, past Askham Bar Park and Ride and take the road to Bishopthorpe (Sim Balk Lane). This will take you over the A64 where you will take the first left onto Church Lane. At the T junction turn left towards York on Bishopthorpe Road. This goes back over the A64 and will lead you to the car park. This is the way coaches for Race traffic enters the Knavesmire on race days and is the simplest.
Parking
York Racecourse. The car park is a designated car park for orienteers and there will be no charge on entry. It is adjacent to Bishopthorpe Road in York, OS Grid Ref SE600495, post code YO23 1DE. Please park in rows to allow easy access.
Terrain
Typical urban area but with some tricky snickelways and parks.

Starts
The start will be close to Assembly. Start times will from 10:30 until 12:30 and pre booked via Fabian4. Please try to stick to these. If you miss your start time the start team will endeavour to fit you in when they can. Please be patient!

Safety
Although a thorough risk assessment has been conducted by the organiser, orienteering is an adventure sport and you are taking part at your own risk.
Results
Results will be posted on the Eborienteers website as well as here, once the event has occurred. Please allow 24 hours.
