The easiest way in is from the B1222 from Sherburn in Elmet or Cawood.
Turn onto Scalm Lane and progress along to the Forestry Commission Car Park on the north side, which will be signed. G.R SE 560332. W3W: https://w3w.co/armrests.centrally.evolution
Assembly is 150m from car park. Across and alongside Scalm Lane. Please take care crossing Scalm Lane as cars travel quickly along here.
Car Park is as marked ‘Cawood common, Bishop Wood’ in the map opposite. Parking in the Forestry Commission car park is limited, so please share transport where possible.
Typical mixed F.C. woodland. Criss crossed by a network of paths and ditches. There are areas of fast runability, brambles and occasional holly bushes. Some significant areas of brambles are mapped and are best avoided.
Punching Start between 1730 and 1830. Courses close 1930.
