Adding a Saturday morning event to our Spring Series.
Continuing the Spring Series, we have a lovely relaxed Saturday morning event for you to enjoy! This is a great event for beginners to attend as there will be plenty of experienced orienteers around to support.
There will be a short junior course, shorter adult course, and long adult course.
Parkrun is at Millfields Park at 9 am, please do not attend the event before 10 am to avoid parking area clashes.

Parking
Parking will be in Millfields Lane Surgery (next to the entrance to Millfields Park off Millfield Lane) primarily, overflow into the park carpark, and then the nearby local residential streets if needs be. At the surgery, please DO NOT BLOCK the entrance to the staff car park.
Park Run will be at the park from 9am and also use the surgery carpark; therefore, please can you not arrive before 10am so that the majority of the Park Run cars will have left by then.
Terrain
Urban and parkland. Would recommend full leg cover due to the seasonal undergrowth in the park area.

Registration
Sign up via the enter button (Racesignup). No EOD.
Starts
Starts will be 10.30 am to 12.00 pm, but there will be no set times (please aim to leave a minimum of 1 minute between people starting on the same course).
No allocated start times, but please enter via race sign up to ensure we get enough maps printed.
Courses close at 1.30 pm.

Please comply with Covid procedures for distancing and sanitisation as requested. Please obey instructions of Start marshals.

Download will be managed in a socially distant manner. If you have any queries or issues about your run subsequent to downloading, please notify download marshal who will either fix any computing problem or contact an event official if necessary on your behalf.
Safety
Although a thorough risk assessment has been conducted by the organiser, orienteering is an adventure sport and you are taking part at your own risk.
Results
Results will be posted on the Eborienteers website as well as here, once the event has occurred. Please allow 24 hours.
