An exciting chance to compete against others in the YHOA region for the coveted prize of sprint champion 2025. The York Uni campus layout provides lots of interesting route choices.

Please note, this is a change in location of the sprint championships to those previously advertised on the BO fixtures website.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each age category and will be presented on the day at approximately 12:30.

Assembly is in the Roger Kirk Centre open from 9.00 to 1300, where there are toilets and a room to leave clothing in. Competition shoes should be removed before entering, there will be an enquiries desk showing the new sprint specifications, but you will be advised to check on these before the event.
On the southern car park. Park in spaces, not supervised, but follow signs. Entrance to car park from Heslington Lane (YO10 5DE).

Fast university grounds with interesting route choices. Mostly traffic free except for car park access roads. take care near lake and on steps. Some building work is taking place and shown on map where possible.
Start times 10.00 to 11.30.
Courses close 13.00.
Start is adjacent to the assembly.
Please ensure you choose a start time sufficient to allow you to be back to download prior to courses closing.
Finish: Adjacent to assembly – take care crossing the university road from the finish.
Please comply with Covid procedures for distancing and sanitisation as requested. Please obey instructions of Start marshals.

Download will be managed in a socially distant manner. If you have any queries or issues about your run subsequent to downloading, please notify download marshal who will either fix any computing problem or contact an event official if necessary on your behalf.
Although a thorough risk assessment has been conducted by the organiser, orienteering is an adventure sport and you are taking part at your own risk.
Results will be posted on the Eborienteers website as well as here, once the event has occurred. Please allow 24 hours.
