Rawcliffe MapRun – Line
Event Description
Following the Score event we now have a Linear route in Rawcliffe/Clifton. This uses some of the same controls as the previous event.

Controls: 8
The Event starts of the west side of the lake as for the previous event.
Event Details
First Print the Map and try not to look at it!
If you are using MapRun6 just select Download MapRun course!
If you are still using the older MapRun F App you will need to:
Open the app >> Select Event >> UK >> North Yorkshire >> York >> Clifton >> YorkClifton PXAC
Please look at updating to MapRun6 if you can as there are many more features we can make use off as a club
Alternatively go to the Start select Events Near Me >> YorkClifton PXAC
If you have a Garmin (Forerunner 235 or newer) you don’t even have to take your phone with you. Just follow the guide below – This is the way for me, it’s superb and no need to carry a phone and auto syncs results on upload.
Go to the Start Triangle – The timer starts once the app registers the start location
Run to all controls in order and back to the Start/Finish. Your phone will acknowledge each control visited.
When you’re done you will be prompted to upload your results
