Assembly at St Peter’s School 8 – 13 Entrance at Queen Annes Road York, YO30 7WA.
Assembly, Start and Finish, download and toilets are now inside school building as the fields are too wet. Due to recent weather requiring a change of assembly location club/family tents and flags are no longer possible.
Please note dogs not allowed on the school premises.
* Please only use the entrance on Queen Annes Road and by foot or bicycle only. There is a big cricket game on in the main school. The main school entrance is out of bounds for all competitors all day. Strictly no cars to enter the site except for helpers. All streets around Queen Anne’s Road are residents permit parking only. So please avoid driving down Queen Anne’s Road from the A19/Bootham Road. This will help keep residents happy for future events.
There is very limited parking space at the school via Queen Anne’s Road, for accessible parking only. Please contact Johny (details below) with registration number to gain access.
Please use public transport as far as possible. York is well served by train and bus. We would recommend car drivers use the park and ride system, of which there are several around the city outer ring road, Parking in central York is expensive.
St Peter’s school is easily accessible via the Rawcliffe park and ride, the 2a stops at St Peters school and the 2 stops a very short walk away. The school is well serviced by nearby public carparks.
Note that due to the urban nature of this event and the many roads, competitors under 16 are only permitted to enter courses 6 or 7 that avoid the local roads. Please note that course 6 involves one or two very minor roads and the riverside. Course 7 is completely enclosed. Please enter juniors on a suitable course.
