Don’t fancy a romantic dinner with your significant other? Find the thought of running around in the mud in the dark more appealing than a bunch of 12 red roses hastily bought from the local petrol station? If so, then head down to club night on Monday!
Hob Moor this week… can you follow precisely a line on the map to find the controls along it? Bring a dibber if you have one (there will be a few spares if you don’t).
There are plenty of cycle racks and many of you can walk or run there but by car, access the school via Nunthorpe Avenue or Philadelphia Terrace (additional cycle/pedestrian access via Southlands Road). There is a car park at either side. Meet 6.30pm – first you need to find the Sports Hall… don’t enter the Sports Hall, instead go east to the north side of the next building (see map) – no muddy shoes!
Each week there are maps prepared for beginners as well as experienced orienteers. We will be outdoors and jogging so dress appropriately. In winter, there may be some mud! Bring a headtorch/torch.
