Congratulations to two EBOR winners, Frankie Symes in the Men’s Junior class and Janet Leake in the WUV class, as well as Mike Ridealgh 3rd in MHV. Well done to all three for their great runs throughout the year!

Chance for practice before the Scottish 6 day or the White Rose! Meet in the car park (Grid Reference 583752) N Moor Ln, York YO61 4SL. From the B163 at Brandsby head N through Yearsley towards Ampleforth; the car park (unsigned but with an O kite!) is on the right just north of the left fork

A trail O event has been added to the White Rose program. It will take place on Saturday 26th August, afternoon between 1500 and 1700. this event will contribute to the British Trail O League. More detail on the White Rose page.

Get to Millthorpe School on Monday by 6-30pm where we’ll be looking at compass work in grassland/woodland this week. Advance notice: from June, we’ll train on (much) more complex terrain (Strensall Common for the first few weeks)… if you need a lift to get out there, let us know.
