Our last away day of the summer and this time near Pickering. We’ll use Stony Moor and try some of the legs from the JK that never was (covid). It’s wonderful terrain. Parking is in a small car park courtesy of Rawcliffe Motors (Rawcliffe Lodge, Stape, Pickering YO18 8JA) at GR 798918. This is just south of where a public footpath (“Peat Road”) crosses the road.
I’ll have the controls out for people to start from 6.30pm and I’ll leave some maps under a windscreen wiper for anyone who is a bit late.
On the 18th July, we’ll be back in York for the last club night until September.
